Simon Lee is originally from South Korea. He sustained multiple injuries as a competitive swimmer and from playing team sports such as football and rugby in college. He experienced how impairments and disabilities influence the simple tasks of daily living, which drove him to pursue a career as a physiotherapist.
Simon obtained a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from the University of Otago in 2008. He worked at private clinics looking after people with musculoskeletal and chronic pain conditions from various sports, occupational injuries and everyday activities. He also supported his clients before and after surgeries to regain mobility and function. Simon later attended the Auckland University of Technology and honed his skills and knowledge by completing the Master of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 2013.
Simon is an experienced physiotherapist who specialises in shoulder and spinal conditions. He is dedicated to helping clients overcome pain and injuries, and emphasises the importance of prevention through patient education. With over 15 years of experience, Simon offers individualised care and support to his clients throughout their journey to prime recovery.
