Providing Interventions:
- Assistive technology items prescription and installation in clients’ homes
- Measurements for Pressure Care garments
- Wheelchair prescription including person’s measurement for a wheelchair
- Balance exercises program for elderly patients
- Home Modification prescription (minor) with drawings
- Manual Handling training provision for carers
- Report writing
- Working with children and their families to address the following children’s issues with:
- Self-Care: dressing, bathing, using toilet, eating, doing chores, making a snack, organising themselves
- Gross motor and fine motor skills
- Attention and concentration, ability to follow instruction, improving handwriting and reading skills.
- Sensory Processing: Assessment and Identification of sensory processing differences, management and strategies for sensory seeking or avoidance behaviours, sensory tools recommendations
- Emotional regulation
- Play and interaction with others through the playing
DVA
Veterans possessing a DVA TPI Gold Card or a White Card (specific to their condition) are eligible for our Occupational Therapy services. A D904 referral from your GP is necessary before beginning services with our Occupational Therapist.
NDIS
We currently accept self and plan-managed NDIS participants. Our inclusive approach ensures that individuals of all backgrounds and support structures can access our comprehensive allied health services. We’re here to empower you on your journey toward improved health and well-being, regardless of your NDIS management method.
Care plans
Allied Health Hub Morayfield offers support to individuals with complex needs or chronic conditions, provided they are referred by their GP through a care plan. This allows access to Medicare rebates for up to five annual consultations with an Occupational Therapist.

WorkCover
